This notice describes the personal information collected when you purchase, activate, sign in, or request support.

Categories and purposes
- Identifiers: name, email, account ID, transaction ID, license key, and hashed workstation identifier. Used for purchasing, accounts, activation, security, and support.
- Commercial information: purchased quantity, price, payment status, refund status, and license history. Used to complete transactions, provide licenses, prevent fraud, and maintain accounting records.
- Internet or electronic activity: sign-in, activation, application version, security events, and support interactions. Used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
- Professional information: company or office name when supplied. Used to associate licenses and support with the purchasing organization.
- Customer communications: support messages and privacy requests. Used to respond, document resolutions, and meet legal obligations.
- Credentials and sensitive information: password hashes and account authentication data. Used only to protect and authenticate accounts, not to infer characteristics.
Retention
Account and license records are generally retained while active and for up to seven years afterward when needed for tax, accounting, fraud, warranty, or legal records. Paid-order records are generally retained for seven years. Closed support tickets are generally retained for three years. Activation records are retained while a license is active and ordinarily removed within twelve months after revocation or account deletion when no legal exception applies. Security audit records are capped and generally retained for no more than twelve months.
Sale and sharing
ProphyCapture does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. It does not use personal information for targeted advertising.
